In
my opinion, I disagree with the statement that in twenty years it (there) will be fewer cars in use because of its
convenience and (the) consistent development of
technologies. My opinion is strongly substantiated by following reasons.
To
begin with, cars are the most convenient means of transportation. In fact,
other transportations cannot (be) use(d) with ease
because of their high price and strict time table. For example, airplane is
much faster and larger than car(,) but it (the ticket)
is expensive to ride and we should go
to the near(est) airport to use. Airport is normally far from our home
place. In addition, it (driving car)
is more comfortable to change our time schedule easily.
If we once want to change our flight (time), we
should pay for needless charge (the change).
How about ship? Some people have serious vomits
(seasickness) in
(on) ships so that children are not
willing to use ships (be on board). Also, ships are very depending on(ent to)
the weather condition. If we have urgent meeting, nobody want to use ships. With this in mind, (the)
main means of transportations is stills
cars than any other ones for the time being.
On
top of that, technologies have developed to
(that) reduce (the)
harm(ful) effect to (the)
environment (have been developed). For
instance, many people worried about carbon dioxide because of green house
effect. However, with using (through) diverse solution(s) such
as ethanol, (natural) gas and refined energy source (other
eco-friendly fuels), cars are not(hing) any more (than the)
main target (to be blamed) of (for the) air
pollution in the world. Thus, cars’ usage will not decrease than (compared to) the
present. According to recent research of
(from) the Council of EU, cars have cut their
pollutant emits for twenty years.
To
sum up, I believe that cars will be more useful in the future in terms of its
convenience and developed technologies
(eco-friendliness). My dream is also getting a
nice sports car after 20 years. How wonderful it is!
