▶ Your Answer :
Whether student should complement their work to study is a controversial issue. From my perspective, working while studying is not a very good idea for many students, because it can disrupt concentrating on either of those and prevents teenagers from investing their time on their future.
I experienced working all day at my parents’ sushi bar: the experience was strenuous as a teenager. When my main focus is working and not studying, I can work for a long time, but trying to work out of school is a painful experience. I should push myself hard to complete working for a day and get back to schoolwork only to accrue fatigue and stress. When both study and work are tied to students’ lives, they cannot be effective at any of their jobs and they always feel excruciated with no rest. The primary aim of teenagers is to be a good student and work is a supplemental part of their lives, so teenagers have to concentrate on their studies while work can be postponed to future.
Teenagers are at their critical period of studying. They should study hard and be an excellent student in school to prepare for their future lives. They will have to study assiduously to enter prestigious colleges and compete in future job market. Working while studying can earn them allowance, but they can even earn extravagant salary after getting a job as a grown-up, which comprises more important part of lives. They have no time to waste in school year struggling through part-time jobs for trifling income, especially when parents are there for them for economic support. During that time, they should decide their own future and invest time on pursuing their dreams. Most critical factors in achieving their goals is catching up with schoolwork and being a diligent student. It should be an excellent, visionary choice for how to spend their school year, and the result awaiting them is a bright, delightful future beyond their wildest dream.
The controversial issue of whether work should be part of teenagers’ lives is summarized to one question: Which is more important matter for teenagers? Teenagers should make a choice to spend their precious time and energy on more critical things of their lives. Given that study is mandatory in teenager lives, they should focus on schoolwork rather than jobs that earn trivial income. They should be reminded that studying is a part of the process to grow up to competitive adults, who have dreamed of brightest dreams and spent their teenager years studying hard to achieve their dreams. |
