It sometimes becomes an interesting issue among people that people who consider social recognition valuable can work hard if they do not earn much money. Some people disagree with this opinion in that money is important to sustain life. In my opinion, however, I strongly believe that social recognition is the most important matter in life with two reasons. First, people can enjoy their job. Second, social recognition is necessary for succeeding.
I have the same mind with the aforementioned principle for the reason that pursuing social recognition enables people to enjoy their job. It is evident that money is important, but people cannot buy happiness with money. In this sense, if social recognition play pivotal role in life, people do not get stressed from their work and finally they are able to enjoy their work. There is a good example supporting this idea. My teacher is a famous pianist in my country. Although he does not earn an amount of money, he always spends most of his time playing piano. Everyone knows he is very patient, so people always go to his concert and highly value his performance. As a result, he feels happy while people listen to his music, and tries to endeavor playing piano well.
Another reason that should be taken into consideration is that social recognition is an essential factor for succeeding. If people are immersed in earning money, they may conduct error choice. According to the study recently released by Korea National Research Center, more than two thirds of CEOs mentioned that they prefer to social recognition rather than money. At first, they selected the company which provides them with a large amount of money. However, the employer tends to deceive and cheat others for their own profit. At that time, they realized that money is not everything and they tried to get social recognition. Finally, this resulted in succeeding in their major.
To sum up, I totally would like to say that people who consider social recognition value work hard regardless of money. The reason why I think like this is because people enjoy their job and, at the same time, social recognition is an important factor for succeeding. |
