It is
often said that people are satisfied with what they have under their
constraints. But most people are not satisfied with their life because of two properties of their greed. They (they) want something more than what they have(,) and (they also want)
what others have. (People → We)
First of
all, they want goods (to have) more than they need. For example, they
needed a house and a car for one's family, so they expected
getting money to afford the cost (work hard
to afford what they need). Once they achieved
(achieve) the goal, they have another ones (needs to
satisfy), even though the one(s that) are not necessarily needed. The process are keepping and (repeats)
infinite (infinitly
/ constantly). People are never satisfied with theirs (what they
have).
In
addition, they prefer theirs to other's something
(tend to envy / crave / covet what others have).
They generally (→consequently) devalue theirs (what they
have). There is a study regarding the problem. According to the Seoul
National University's psychology experiment, people tend to think (that) other's food is larger (in
quantity) than theirs although the ones
are (their food are in the) same size (quantity).
Like this(,) people have some biological (innate)
envy of (for)
others (possessions). This makes people not (unable) be
satisfied with what they have.
In
conclusion, the tendency of the dissatisfaction
are (to be dissatisfied is) reinforced
in modern society because the society are
(is) more pursuitting
material wants (materialized) and
abandoning(s)
communal living. So people's property
(tendency) of
(to) greed causes their dissatisfaction.
