To begin with, in the present,
students pay more attention to art and music than politics. Art and music are
especially important given that modern society are
(is) becoming increasingly complicated. This is
attributed to the fact that art exposition and music performance enable
children to lower their stress level unlike (in)
the past. Moreover, these concerts distract people from their stress and worries. This simple and
quick escape from reality may actually serve as a safety valve (vault?) to
let off some stream (steam?) as well as a fun
way to recharge energy. For example,
according to a study done by Ministry
of Education of Korea in 2012, it revealed that
there was a huge difference between two groups of students (elaborate what these groups are whenever you mention it for
the first time) in managing their academic pressure. The study indicated
that students in Group A(,) who spent four hours
a week on average taking part in watching music performance(,) were more satisfied with their school life than
those who spent the same amount of time studying politics. On the other hand,
those in Group B were involved in dangerous
(delinquent) activities, such as smoking,
drinking, and even stealing to cope with their stress. Thus, this proves that
art and music are more important than politics in the present.
