▶ Your Answer :
An intriguing topic at hand is whether letting a friend make a
mistake is better than taking action that risks destroying a friendship. The
answer tothis question can vary greatly depending on the individual
perspectives. Thus, the jury may still be out but as far as I am concerned, I
disagree with the statement. In this essay I will present two reasons
supporting my standpoint as follows.
The first reason for my opinion is that taking action is already helping a friendhelped to a friend herself. Using my experience as an example, when I was a high school
student, I was habitually late for school. That time, my friend who was a
my classmate gave me advice, "you must me not to be late for
school." As a result, I firstly thought realized that it was a very bed bad behavior. What is
more, I started to go to school earlier than before. If my friend had
did not gave me this advice me not to be late,
I would have always been late to school always. In this sense, it is quite evident that
taking action is better than letting a friend make a mistake.
Another equally important reason is that taking action never destroyscauses destroying a friendship.
To be specific, a
recent survey conducted by the Korea Times illustrated that as nearly 60
percent of people think that when their friends gave them action about their mistake, they more can be are able to build their friendship for the better hard. A more detailed follow-up research revealed that if a friend
takes action to the mistakes, friends who received the action
will appreciate to their friend.
In this context, there is a justifiable reason I would
encourage taking action instead of letting a friend comit the same mistake over again.
To conclude, I think it is better to take action for the mistakes of
friends rather than letting them commit the same mistake over again. Correcting
a mistake or mistakes not only leads to a firmer friendship but it also leads the
one at fault to be grateful to the person who corrected him or her.
In conclusion, I argue for my standpoint on account of
the two reasons mentioned above. I personally think that two of my rationals
are sufficiently convincing enough to represent the viewpoints of people who
are in favor of my claim. |
