In our country,
Korea is mostly known as the country of ‘Eastern land of Courtesy.’
People keep their respect to their elders, and are very polite and welcoming to
other foreigners. Among all the great achievements and inventions that our
country had done, I would not hesitate to choose the Korean alphabet, Hangul,
as the first one to be displayed at the international exhibition. The reasons
are because of its uniqueness, and the easiness to learn the language.
To
begin with, the Korean alphabet Hangul is very unique in divergent ways. Most
of the languages we use do not have any record of who made the language in what
time of the year. However, unlike the other unrecorded history of other languages, the invention of
Hangul is truly recorded. that It was made by the King Se-Jong in 1446. Moreover, the Korean language is was made based on the talking mouth
structure, which means that we can pronounce any Korean word like it flows
smoothly in our mouths. Many researches has have done many researches to identify Hangul
in scientific ways and it proved that the words are almost alike to the opening
of the mouth, and all
of the physical parts
of the respiratory
systems.
MoreoverOn top of that, the reason why
I recommend the Korean language Hangul is because it is indeed
the easiest language to learn comparing compared to other languages around the world.
Since it is has been known that the alphabets are made just like how they sounded it sounds,
there is no need to memorize all the sounds that a word makes, but just have to
pronounce the word that is spelled. In fact, a good example of this is
comparing the pronunciation of ‘a’ with English and Korean. In English, there
are many lots of ways to pronounce ‘a’ because it differs on
where the ‘a’ puts is placed in a word. However, in Korean it only symbolizes and
sounds just one particular sound, which makes children and also foreigners to
learn the language without no any consideration.
To
conclude, if I were asked to send one individual thing to represent our country
to an international exhibition, I would definitely recommend the Korean
language Hangul as a symbolic icon because it is very unique and easy to learnadopt. What should be
more important is that civilization is happened because people who lived
earlier made languages to communicate with others. If they did not invent
languages, there are chances that there are no us, or even nothing left. To be
more improved and developed, Hangul should be kept and researched by researchers and
civilizationour interests. |
