In this immensely developed society, money has been considered as one of the most significant values. There has been a controversy that which is better to spend money on trips or to put it aside for the future. Some people might say thay it is much better to put money aside for the future because we could live comfortable and relieve life. However, I have an opposite idea to this insistence. In this wssay, I will present two ideas to support my idea. To begin with, I can learn indeed lots of things effectively through trips. As there is an saying that “Seeing once is far better than listening hundreds of time.”, trips are the perfect way to learn something. For instance, I will give an experience of myself. I had been France when I was thirteen years old and I visited the art museum in Paris. Although before I visited to there, I read some books about France art histories, it was hard for me to learn about them. However, visited the art museum and saw a myriad of masterpieces with the guide of museum explaining about flows of the art histry, it was much easier for me to understand the art history of France. From this experience, I found that trips are worthwile to spend money and the most effective way to learn and understand something such as other country’s culture or history. On top of that, if I put money aside for the future, I can’t enjoy present time. There is a coinage “YOLO” in Korea which means that “You Only Live Once.” In other words, it means enjoy this time and do what you want to right now. After this words created, more and more people live for present, not future. There is a survey conducted by team of Seoul Nation University, which is the best university in Korea. They investigated the relationships between the use of money and people’s happiness. They found that the person who enjoy present time and spend money as she wants is much happier than the others who make less consumption for the future. To sum up, by spending money on trips, I can learn lots of things and feel much happier. For these reasons, I agree with the statement that it is better to spend money on trips than to put it aside for the future.
