Have you tried sudoku? Sudoku is a mathematical
game finding out what number goes in the blank by considering all the combination
between nearby numbers. It is a very simple and easy game. As many people enjoy
this game, I believe that some people prefer doing schoolwork or jobs that are
easy to challenging ones for the following reasons: it relieves stress, and people
can earn feeling of accomplishment easily.
First of all, easy works relieve (주어 동사 불일치) stress. If
you do unchallenging things, you do not (줄임말 사용을 지양해주세요.) use your brain much, while being able
to focus on it. By focusing on a delightful job, you are able to rest your
brain while keeping distance from all other worries. For example, my sister Mina
used to work as a financial analyst, but quit it and now works as a public
official. Before, she was very stressed out for the difficulty of her jobs, but
now, her jobs are unsophisticated and easy to follow. She seems very happy and
satisfied with her job.
Moreover, you can feel a feeling of accomplishment
easily. It is an undeniable fact that people find catharsis when their work is completed.
If your work is easy, you will be able to finish the work faster and often, thereby
motivating you. For instance, there was a study by Korean Education Center,
where they divided subjectives into two groups. Group A was given easy quizzes,
where the other was given difficult quizzes. When comparing the result of those
two, group A showed high satisfaction in the experiment and is willing to
participate (동사 원형) once more. This shows that people prefer easier duties.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that people
prefer unchallenging works than complicated works for the reasons I have
mentioned above. All in all, difficulties bring up stress, arousing feelings of
dissatisfaction. |
