Recently, the general awareness that people usually spen their life in one place aroused as heated arguments. People who grew up from diverse environments maintain various understandings towards the issue. Some poeple prefer to live in one place because they don't want to leave their friends, family, and other intimate things in their hometown. However, regardless of what opponents argue, my personal take on the matter is that moving to many places is better for my life. I can list a number of reasons that I can use to support my position, I will limet my diccussion to two of the most important reasons.
First of all, living in diverse places help me to develop social skill. When I move from place to place I can meet a lot of new people and get a chance to make freindship with them. Also, I can learn how to adapt myself to the new society. These processes help me to improve my social skill. From my personal experience, I move a lot because my father is a diplomat. I lived in many countries such as US, South Africe, Bangladesh, Panama and Korea. When I moved, it was very hard to make myself suitable to the new countries, but I did well. I learned a lot of social skill through these processes and it made me very sociable. It was very helpful for me to be a leader of my university and get a job in political field.
The second point I would like to bring the the light is that living in diverse locations is more interesting than living in a place in my whole life. I easily get bored, when I stay at the same place for a long time. That's why I travel and move a lot. When I was a university student, I lived alone in Seoul, the capital city of Korea. My parents recommended me to live a plce near my school, but I didn't want to live the same place for four years alone baecause I knew I would get bored. Therefore I moved a lot and live in many places. The places usually near universities, so I could feel various moode and culture of diverse universities. It ws the most interesting experience in my life.
To sum up, moving a number of times throughtout my life helps me to develop social skill. Also, it is very interesting. I firmly believe that the aforementioned points adequately support my argument that liveing in diverse places in entire life is better than living in one place. |
