While some people argue that it is more essential for people to work than to be with their families, others insist that spending time with their families is more significant for people's life. These arguments have weaknesses and strengths, but I do think that being with my family is more important than working. There are various reasons to support my argument, but I will discuss two points. First one is that spending time with my family is refreshing and relaxing. Second one is that it is my responsibility.
To begin with, I maintain that spending time with my family is more relaxing and refreshing than working. It is because I do not have to think about productivity with my family while I am required to achieve my goal at work. For example, there are certain things that I have to get done at work, so I am always stress out. However, I can just relax myself and talk about anything when I am with my family. My family does not demand me to improve my skill and achieve sales goal. They are with me just for myself.
In addition, family is a crucial part of my life, so spending time with family is my duty. The goal of my life is to maintain good and healthy family life. Even if I make lots of money I would be a failure if I cannot attach myself emotionally to my family. To make strong emotional bondage I need to spend time with my family. Thus, it is my responsibility that I need to spend time with my family. For example, the movie, "Family Man" clearly depicts my idea. The main character of the movie once deserted his family life, but came back to his family after having realized that the most important factor of his life is family. No matter how successful he was his success could not fill up the space which his family should come.
In conclusion, spending time with family should be considered more important than work. Time with family give us chances to relax and recharge energy. Moreover, speding time with family is our responsibility because family is such an essential part of our life. With the things considered, being with family should be valued more than making money. |
