Some people anticipate that printed books will be replaced by E-Books in 20 years. However, I do not agree with it, because with it's original advantages, it will survive electronic books armed with high technologies after 20 years. These obvious merit of it is it's convenience such as mobility and spaces for writing. In this regard I will list my opinions as follow.
To begin with, it's best merit is mobility, which allow people to search for and read somethings beyond a time and a space. When we need a book or information, we only have to take a book out of our back or pocket. We can access to these books anywhere, anytime. In the point that we do not need to care about immobility or inconvenience from E-Books, this merit is special.
Secondly, we can use printed books in diverse ways. For example, when we read a printed book we can note or write what we need on this. As you know, when we study or take course, it is needed that we should take down important information and summary it's central texts. As we have done, we can use it as a other storage of an information that we wrote.
Thirdly, it's costs are far cheaper than costs of E-books. While we can access to books with cheap payments, the coast of electronic books when we buy and use electronic books seems irrational to get an information. In a word, people would do not want to be in coast such high expenditures for an information or books.
To sum up, I believe that these factors of printed books are the reasons that it will survive the competition with E-Books. It's mobility, flexibility and proper coasts attract people to prefer printed books, obviously leading perpetual method for getting an information. |
