People can choose between solving a problem alone and asking others for advice. Some people tend to solve problems alone because they think they are not allowed to ask for advice when solving problem. However, in my view, asking people for advice is better because it can create better ideas and make bond with other people.
First, in solving problems, talking with other person can create better ideas. I can’t see the problems in many perspectives but if discussing with other person I can think of solution in different way. There for, by discussing about the problems, I can think outside the box. For example, when I had my first assignment in economy class in the university I was not familiar with my major, and I could not think of ideas to solve it. However, I could get some useful ideas by asking senior students who were in our classes and knew that some of my ideas were quite wrong.
Thus, asking for advice can lead to more good result.
Second, asking help to solve problem can lead to good relationship with other people. We are not living alone in this world. We are living in a society where people communicate with each other. When I ask for advice to someone, that person can help my problem, and in the same way, I can help his problems. This leads to close relationship with other person. For example, I met my best friend when I was in high school. I was really in trouble getting in to the university because my math grades were so bad. However my class mate Jong Chul help me improving my math grade by teaching some useful skills. If I tried study alone, I could not achieved that. In this sense, solving problem with others can make their relationship closer.
In conclusion, solving problems with others is better than just doing it alone because of asking other can create better ideas and build close relationship with other. |
