I disagree with the statement that it is more essential to work instead of staying with families. Home is a place for people to relax and feel stability with their families. Also, home is a place which children learn lessons of life from thier parents. In this regard, disciplining children and having more time with family is more crucial than working and earning more money.
To begin with, learning from parents is very critical to children's education. Parents are the one whose children spend most of their time with. So, how well the parents teach to their children is very important to children's development in many way. According to the study from National Education Research Institution, when both mother and father working together and when they have almost no time to nurse their children, the result of the children's academic work is lower than the average. This means that although parents strive to work at their working place and try to manage their children's education cost, their effort would be turn out to be in vain.
In addition, having time with their children is also important to children's emotional development. If parents don't take care of their children, children would feel depression or lack of love from their parents. For example, when I was in high school, my class prepared dance for dance contest held in the school. It was pretty competitive, so we practiced a lot. On the day of contest, all parents came to the contest, but my friend Su-jin disappointed that her parents didn't come because they both had to working. So Su-jin didn't do her best and just seemed that she lost her interest in performance.
To sum up, it is better to spend time with familes than working and make more money. This is because staying with children is essential to their academic work and emotional stability. |
