There has been an ongoing debate whether or not students can learn more effectively with the help of the Internet or not. Some people think that using the Internet makes student learn many knowledges, whereas others believe that using the Internet can cause serious side-effects for learning. I agree with latter stance because of due to two major reasons: leading other way and there are many unreliable information.
(Because of를 쓰셔도 됩니다, 하지만 읽었을때 느낌이나 어감이 due to가 더 부드럽습니다)
First of all, using the Internet can bring about significant negative influences on studying. There are many tempting things on the web such as advertisement, web-cartoon and Internet game. Students are more likely to be attracted on tempting because they are always eager to get out from repeated daily life. For example, when I was in middle school, I was given homework to retrieve Columbus on the Internet. I well did search the information at first. However, I observed my figure to do Internet game instead of doing homework later. Internet is bad for student to learn more effectively.
Moreover, there are many unreliable information on the web. All people Everyone can list information whether or not is it precise or not. They are not expect expert but an ordinary people so student should discriminate from information from accurate information to inaccurate information. However the majority of student does do not have ability to discern the information. For example, Jack who is my friend handed in homework with the help of using Internet about bacterial attribution. Later, the professor said that the homework has significant error such as misunderstanding bacteria and fungi so jack was given bad reputation. In this way, unreliable information on the Internet have an side-effect on our life
In conclusion, all things considered, although the majority of people hold a different position on this issue, I firmly feel that students can not learn more effectively with the help of the Internet |
