It is evident in our current society that education has a tremendous importance in our life. Some people believe that educating students is not considered as more important part for improving their academic skills than doing research. I however, believe that educating students is more efficient than doing research. There are several reasons that I can discuss my argument so I will limit my discussion to the two that I feel are the most relevant this topic. First, educating students can more improve one’s academic skills than doing research. Also, educating students can change their characteristic more actively.
First of all, the most important reason of my feeling this way is that educating students can more improve one’s academic skills than doing research. Commonly in society students tend to be more convenient. If students teach other students such as elementary school student or children, they will be able to their academic skill because they have to study more to prepare teaching others perfect. This remind me of a time when I was a university student. Being a senior, I had to go to teaching practice. I went to a middle school to teaching practice during a month. That time, I learned how to teach other students as well as study more to teach students. As a result, academic skills have amazingly improved through teaching practice. If I did not go to teaching practice, I would not be able to improve my academic skills. As this explains show educating students can more improve one’s academic skills. This brings me to my argument which is mentioned in the paragraph below.
Also, another reason of my thinking this way is that students can change their characteristic more actively. Commonly in society some students tend to be selfish. If students teach other students, they will be changed their character more actively. My cousin used to be very selfish when he was a high school student. He used to be never willing to help others. This lasted when he was a freshman. That time, he take a class, named improving teaching skill. He had to take the class because he wanted to be a teacher. At first, he did not do well because he did not understand others. Finally he changed to get good grade. He finally changed perfectly. Today, he is willing to volunteer every Sunday. Also, he finally becomes high school student. This applies in a variety of different but relevant situations.
All things considered, the reasons mentioned above, I believe that I have sufficiently and adequately explained my position on the matters regarding this topic. |
