People have developed technology since ancient learnt how to use fire. Because of it, the world is getting more convenient to live and sustain high standard of the life. However, many such things as natural disaster and pollution have appeared to the life. From the point of my view, I strongly agree that as long as we control those negative things well, could we not only sustain our advanced life but also could find the better solution to problems. With advance in technology, we have been able to improve productivity in all kinds of industries, which means that both costs needed to produce goods and scarce resources are reduced. Thanks to this, we could invest efforts and capital, which are saved because of technology, in controlling problems caused by human being. Moreover, by improving technology, everything we need to do with big efforts is getting easier and simpler. That is, As technology reaches to the level of being able to control not only problems caused by human being but also fully take advantage in it, people enjoy higher standard of life than before. By contrast to those merits of technology above, some people argue that abnormal problems which can not be explained by science and not existed before have happened around us. It is no longer unfamiliar to hear desperate news on T.V. For example, so many people suffer from huger and diseases which was not in our life in undeveloped countries. It can be said that the advance in technology is only for developed countries not for the other countries. To sum up, advance in technology has some undesirable points, all those things can be offset by what we will enjoy because of technology, like traveling abroad by fight and cutting cost in production process. Because with advanced technology, people can handle negative things well, I highly agree that technology has made the world better to live. |
