After the Industrial Revolution, the advent of the industry clusters facilitated human lives. Human welfares, as well as the number of the amenities skyrocketed enabling world citizens to dwell in a versatile world. However, industries, recklessly pursuing for profits, induced various dilemmas such as intervening human rights and polluting. Thus, I disagree that companies should solely seek their benefits.
To start off, it is unjust for the businesses to challenge human rights. Long time have passed since the businesses endeavored to earn profits. To achieve this, they tortured labor forces and often monopolized the markets. These not only hindered people from achieving elevated level in quality of life, but they were barred from buying what they wanted. According to the statistics made in 2008, 14.2% of people are still suffering from excessive work. Also, 22.4% of people muttered at the absurd prices of some commodities. The economic depression we are facing at this moment is said to be sparked by the exclusive increase in the price of the petroleum due to the OPEC's monopolization.
Secondly, environmental pollution is one of the phenomenon entailed by the ambition of many companies. We often see NEWS topic about a company illegally throwing out waste water or disposing residue components in to the air. These companies, in order to save abolition cost, areillegitimately littering the leftovers in to our environment. It is written in the 'Nature', a famous science magazine, that 43% of the environmental pollution was aggravated imputed to the companies' dishonest behavior. However, these illegal acts are not beneficial to human at all.
To capsulate, business brutality in yearning for profits not only cause encroachment in the human rights but also severly pollute the Earth. It is necessary for the companies to impartially operate their industries and maintain their communication with the citizen in order to manage a company with full support by the citizens.
