When I was a child, my mother bought me a pet dog, named Bandal. My mom's aim was to foster responsibility and also love and care towards other. This benefited me to live with ease in my community. Thus, in accordance with my experience, I will buy a pet for my child to achieve the goal which my mother endeavored.
To start off with, buying a pet would help my child to grow liability. Cleaning the leftovers, or feeding the pet would certainly benefit him to grow this capability. For instance, when my pet Bandal excreted, it was my job to clean it up. Also, I had to clean all the mess that it had made. Thus, I trained him not to make all the fuss and it assisted me in increasing my responsibility. In addition, according to the statistics made by Harvard University, more than 86% of the grownups believed that by fostering pets, people can expand this trait. My child, with full responsibility, will be able to face the hardship he would meet in the society.
Secondly, love and care can be educated by keeping pets. Individualism has pervaded throughout the society, eliminating these elements in human hearts. Consequently, many people, regardless of their age, lacked emotions or rationality which are the basic key points of human beings. Contrary-wise, by keeping pets, by giving them love and affection, my child wil be able to grow these characteristics. In the book, 'Salamander', the main character named David, who was an evil criminal, got a pet, salamander by chance. As he gave all his efforts to raise it, he realized that he had done things that are not right. Recognizing his mistake, he then became a moral person. My child, like the main character, will be able to grow these features and utilize it in reducing the individualism that spreaded in the community.
In a nutshell, raising a pet would not only make my child grow the liability, but also will support him with the fundamental elements as a human being. Through these attributes, my child will surely be a renowned which everyone reveres in the future. |
