There is an argument concerning whether teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn. Some may say that it should not be, because some teachers may become concentrating on only how much money they get paid. However, I think that it is reasonable for school and students, since students will me more satisfied in their classes, and school can save money.
If teachers get paid according to how much their students learn, they will try to do their best when they teach their students. Moreover, it can be easily classified into two groups of teachers, good teachers and poor educated teachers, then school can fire the second part of teachers. Therefore, students can learn from only well educated teachers, of course, they will be satisfied more. In addition, their grades can be higher up naturally because they can be educated with high quality education.
On top of that, school can save money. One of big expense of school is to pay for teachers. That is why school supported from huge companies usually has lots of teachers; otherwise school with less money cannot hire many teachers. However, if school picks only well-educated teachers or good teachers up to stay, they do not have to spend money paying for poor teachers. Moreover, classes can be minimized because students study in fever atmosphere with good teachers. Finally, through few teachers and few classes, school will get their goal with saving money.
In conclusion, teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn, since when teachers try to do their best in class, students will be more satisfied in the class. Also, as school’s point of view, it will be a way to save money. |
