▶ Your Answer : It is often believed that a college should focus more on improving facilities for students on hiring famous professors. However, contrary to this idea, I firmly believe that colleges must invest in having high-quality faculty more than enhancing facilities. This is because good professors can help students to decide future's careers and teach materials very effectively. To begin with, good professors enables college students to decide their future's jobs. They ordinarily are interested in students' advantages and disadvantages and know them very well. Therefore, they can give useful advices to students who worry about their future. It is a thing that only good professor can do. My friend -Hyun Woo can be a good example. He majored in the geology, but he always thought that he was very poor at the measurement and he always got bad scores on the geology. So he always worried about his career. However, fortunately he really knew about computer systems very well. So, a professor got to know it and suggested that he should change his majors and study about IT technologies. My friend accepted his advice and changed his major. Surprisingly, his scores improved a lot, as a result he could attend a famous IT company. Now, he is paid a lot of money. On top of that, good professors can teach learning materials effectively. The level of university classes is very hard, so teaching them well is very important. For instance, I am majoring in the physics. Whenever I red my books of major, I got so stressed out. This is because it is too hard to understand it alone. But, now the situation gets better because there is a very famous professor who teaches the physics very well. He do not use any facilities like computers and smart phones in the class. Instead, he often use metaphor and story telling to explain hard concepts and it works positively. So, his class is very popular and thanks to him, I can understand the physics very well and get confidence about it. To sum up, the great professors can help students prepare for their careers and teach hard materials very efficiently. In this regard, without any hesitation, I firmly suggest that the university should spend more money hiring excellent and famous professors. |
