▶ Your Answer :
Undoubtedly, a pet animal plays a
significant role in children’s life in many places where they work or play.
Some people will think that taking care of a pet animal can have benefit in
their lives, while others do not. Both of sides may have their own reasons to
support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that involving
in a pet animal help children improve their performance in school. There is the
reason as follow.
Most of all, keeping a pet animal, it will
help them cultivate important qualities needed for success. It requires
children to be diligent, passionate, and self-disciplined. When such personal traits
are developed, it is likely to improve their school performance. For example,
my youngest brother did poorly in the high school. He got distracted easily,
procrastinated, acted on impulse. He was lazy, selfish, and passive in class. Even
he flunked math and science. However, he has changed little by little after he
began to raise a dog. It requires him to feed, bathe, and clean up in punctuality.
He can also need to his sense of responsibility. This is because he realized
that his punctuality in feeding his dog could help it stay healthy while his
laziness could negatively affect the dog. This enables him to improve a
stronger passion in his tasks, a better ability to delay gratification. It has s
key role in improving his school performance. He started to maintain good
behavior by raising his grades in school. He was able to excel all throughout high
school and received straight A’s in his classes. Without raising a pet animal,
he would have fallen behind.
All things considered, I strongly think that
the advantage of raising a pet far outweigh that of do not for the reason I
have mentions above. All in all, the importance of a pet animal cannot be
overestimated in children’s school lives. |
