▶ Your Answer :
A thought-provoking current issue concerns
how people make better decision. Some believes that hasty decisions sometimes
make great consequences. It is therefore timely to consider the validity of
this perspective. Personally, I am convinced that hasty decisions are never the
right ones. In the following paragraph, I will explain two reasons for my
opinion.
To begin with, hasty decisions make people
miss detail. To explain, without detailed and meticulous consideration, people
can make wrong choice. For example, last summer, my sister and I traveled Italy
together. This was my first time to go abroad, so it was exhausted to prepare
everything for trip. Thus, when I booked guided tour program for Rome, I just
selected one, which was located on top of a website related to travel. However,
it was huge mistake. The tour's schedule was too tight, and a guide of the tour
was unkind. After the trip was finished, writing the review of the tour, I
recognized that there were several reviews which indicated that the tour was
bad on the website. If I had contemplated selecting the tour
program, I would have chosen better program.
On top of that, if people decide something
quickly, they can miss better opportunities. In fact, some chances only can be achieved
by waiting. There is my uncle's experience as an example. My uncle is early
adopter; he enjoys purchasing new electronic devices. However, he usually regrets
buying the latest model. This is because after a few weeks later, the cost of
products starts decreasing. Moreover, some technical problems are not founded instantly.
Without hasty buying, he can save his fortune and get high quality of devices.
On the contrary, when my mother purchases electronic devices, she always waits
for several weeks. Generally, as time is passed by, most of companies diminish
the cost of their products. By making cautious shopping, my mother is able to get
opportunities not only to save money but also to obtain decent devices.
For the reasons mentioned above, I believe
that hasty decisions necessarily cannot be the right one.
