Some people think that going out with others is the best way to relax and reduce stress. However, in my opinion, it is better to spend time alone because sleeping and watching movies alone helps people to destress than going out with others. To begin with, watching movie alone in one's house give much more relaxed environment. When watching movie in one's house, they can lie on the bed with out having to prepare so much. However, if one decides to go out it is very tiring. The one have to prepare which requires to select clothes do makeup which will make one tired. For example, I work at a hotel where I have to work more than 8 hours a day. Whenever I finish and go home I watch movie lying on my own bed. This helps me to relax and destress from the tiredness. On the other hand, there was few times I tried to hang out with my colleagues after work. We went to watch movie together. After the movie we went for a drink and I came back home. I was very exhausted and was more tired when I went to work on the next day. On top of that, spending time alone will allow people to take good sleep which will hence people to reduce stress. When sleeping people do not have to think about stressing things from work or life. Moreover, if others are around it is impossible to sleep since others will disturb one from falling a sleep. According to the research conducted by well known psychologists, sleeping helps people to destress. They found out that during sleeping the hormones that reduces stress spread within the body and this helps people to relax and destress. In addition, researchers discovered people tend to be more energetic when having people sleep without getting disturbed by others. To sum up, sleeping and watching movie alone helps people reduce stress and take good rest. In this regard, enjoying one's own time alone is the most ideal way to relax and destress. |
