▶ Your Answer : Some people think that people
are likely to be recognized their nature by their dresses since clothes have
close relationship with personality. However, in my opinion, a person dresses
is not actually a obvious representation of his or her personality for
following two subsequent reasons. To
begin with, a person's cloth doesn't reflect one's inherent trait but one's inclination.
There is no apparent relation between one's personality and dress. A student who is diligent can like to wear sparkling and dizzy clothes, while lazy person is able
to wear neat dresses.
For
instance, there was a poll conducted by Korea Times with readers as
respondents. The survey indicated that it was rare thing that the first appearance
such as clothes matched with the actual personality. At least 50% of people's
clothes were not same with their nature. This showed that the means people dress
usually display their tend not innate characteristic.
On
the top of that, people wear clothes to stand out or give a good image to
others regardless of their nature. To survive in this world of endless competition,
people ought to exhibit favorable appearance. In the case of job searching,
everyone is aware that getting job is like a camel passing through the eye of a
needle nowadays. One's ability can be clouded by other's abilities so in order
to stand out, a person must wear neat clothes to present good appearance.
Take my case as an example. I had loose
personality and I didn't like to wear a tie since it was so uncomfortable.
However, I prepared job searching. It was important to give proper appearance
to people who is related with job interview. To offer neat image to interviewers,
I should wear a tie and a suit. This suggested that people tend to dress regardless
of their personality but to grant great appearance.
To
sum up, considering one's inclination and importance of good image, I firmly
believe that a person's dress is not a proper way to know one's personality. |
