▶ Your Answer : These days, people travel a lot. While some like to travel together in big groups or maybe with just one who is the most favorable to oneself, however, I personally prefer travelling alone to travelling with a companion. I will explore couple of reasons why I like to travel by solo on the following essay.
To begin with, travelling alone can help save unnecessary wasteful time. For example, during the trip, my companion can go to a restroom, in such a case, I would have to wait for him or her. Also, before going out to start a day, my companion or me have to wait for each other to take a shower, prepare and dress up. This happens when eating too. We have to wait for another's food to come out and also wait for each person to finish their own dishes. These time might look trivial and nothing to worry about, but if these time are all collected together, it becomes a huge amount of time. In this sense, if this time can be saved, I can have spare time and get chances to go to more places and sightsee more.
On top of that, another good point of travelling alone is that I can concentrate fully on myself. In some cases, I like to travel to have some precious time for clearing my mind and organizing my thoughts. However, if I travel with a companion, it is inevitable of having interactions with that person. For example, I have to talk with that person. The talk can be about future plans of the ongoing trip or even some practical things not related to the trip. It can be good on sharing thoughts but, in other words, this means that I will have less time to focus solely on myself and my problems.
To sum up, it can be more time saving to travel alone. Second, it can be conducive to think and contemplate about myself. For these reasons, I find travelling alone has quite a few benefits to travelling with a companion.
