It is unrealistic for people to work in the same company for their whole life. |
With the developing technology and the Information Revolution, industries and business in modern world divided into numerous different fields. As a result, people have more choices in selecting their jobs. Then question comes out. Is this actually realistic for people to stay in the one company for whole life even though there are thousands of different opportunities available for them? As far as I’m concerned, that’s not realistic. There are two main reasons to illustrate my opinion. Most importantly, people’s interests are always changing, and they will pursuit what they want. Moreover, most of companies have possibility to be vanished in this rapidly changing world. To begin with, most of people struggle with finding the most adequate job for them; therefore they make trials and errors choosing their jobs. They might leave the company to find some place paying them higher salaries or to work for the company related to the field that they are truly interested in. It’s quite hard to feel satisfaction from the first occupation, and because people pursuit their happiness they will continuously move on looking for ideal work places for them. In addition, it is possible that there is someone lucky enough to get the job that is ideal in the first place; however, companies cannot rest forever nowadays. Invention of the Internet brought the huge impact on the world we live in. One of the most noticeable impacts is probably the rapidness of development. It’s not hard to experience the changes; innovative electronic devices are developed and introduced in every few days, and new medicines are cultivated continuously. Those changes are just so fast that we can’t even catch up. Because of this phenomenon, firms have to read the stream of trends, but that’s not easy thing to do. Eventually, there are more companies failing to keep up with changes and get bankrupted than successful companies. So, there are very low chances for people to stay in the same corporations even if they don’t have intention to leave those corporations. In conclusion, it is right to say that working in the same company for whole life is unrealistic. First of all, there is virtually no chance for people to find contenting job at the first time. Second, even though they do, companies usually can’t survive for very long time in such a rapidly changing world. |
