People pay too much attention to celebrities. Do you agree or disagree? |
It is debatable whether people too much concentrate to celebrities or not. Some people say that it is usual phenomenon that has been existing for a long time in human history. However, I strongly believe the idea that celebrities are received too much attention by people because some people abnormally concentrate to celebrities and teenagers mimic the stars extremely. First of all, some people’s severe attention to celebrities makes crimes such as a stalking. Our society has many sorts of crimes, but recently it is issued to stalk celebrities or to invade their personal lives. In crucial case, celebrities are threatened their lives or suffer from psychological pressure. For example, Versace who was one of the most famous fashion designers was killed by his zealous stalker. According to news media, he suffered from the stalker for some years and eventually, the criminal’s extremely attention makes the tragic result. In addition, teenagers pay too much attention to celebrities and sometimes it can be harmful for youths. Recently, some teenagers adore stars such as singers and movie actors. They not only pay attention to celebrities but also mimic their behavior. Some of them chase the celebrities wherever they are and sometimes wait their idol almost 24 hours. These symptoms that are shown some of teenagers can be detrimental for youths. For instance, when I was high a school student, one of my best friends Young-hee was big fan of H.O.T who was most famous idol group in these days. According to she said, she wasted his money to buy their photo and other accessories. Even more, she was absent school frequently because of the H.O.T’s concert. Eventually, she failed entering university and she had to make up study for a year. In conclusion, we can know the fact that people who live now a day too much pay attention to celebrities through there are some crimes because of severe concentration to entertainers and some of teenagers extremely worship stars. |
