It is controversial whether it is better at a large company than a small and medium company. Many people would like to work at a large enterprise since it provides better services and stability for workers. However, I strongly disagree with the above statement that major enterprises is better than minor because major enterprises don't provide stability for laborers and minor enterprises also provide good services.
To begin with, people have believed that a huge company provides stability for workers during their whole life. Nowadays, major enterprises are changing their strategy to survive in hot competition. Therefore they must execute important decisions to maintain the coporation such as restructuring. In factly, restructuring results in many retirements of laborers in many huge coporations. To support, during IMF, many huge enterrpises practice the structural reform to prevent the dishonor and thus many laborers also lost their job. Also, according to the some survey, people worked at a large coporation often leaver their job since it is too hard for them to survive in competition. In fact, workers emplyed in the large company have the high rate of leaving their job. Thus, a large enterprise don't provide stability for employer.
In addition, small enterprises also are improving their services for employer. Presently, small and medium coporations provides various services. For exemple, I had worked at the medium coporation for two years. At there, the coporation provided diverse benefits for me such as recreational facilities, medical centers and health centers. As the coporation provided as, we worked hard for it. Thus, small coporations also give services for employer as the large coporations supply as.
Conclusively, people must stop a stereotyped idea that major company is better than minor. As I mentioned on the above, I strongly disagree with the author's idea that a huge enterprises is better than a small enterprises because big companies don't supply stability for laborers and a tiny companies also provides good strategies for them. |
