Today is society could be called a competitve society. People should make an effort as much as they can to survive from the world. To accomplish this task, I believe relieving stress will provide great power and benefits to people. Both having indoor and outdoor activities have their own advantages that will help people to reduce their stresses. In my opinion, spending my leisure time outdoors will be more preferable because it will be more healthy and productive.
First of all, to share my free time outside of the house makes my mind feel refreshed. In my case, since I live in New York City, I usually visit Central Park on my way back from school. Visiting this park is a getaway from my busy and hectic school life. Moreover, when the weather is nice, the park is a great place to relax and read a book. Reading a novel on a beatutiful day at outside of the house is the best way to enjoy a peaceful time in the park. Therefore, to share my free time outdoor makes it possible to purify my mental health.
What is more, using my leisure time outside can be advantageous. Numerous places, such as monuments, historic distincts and open-air galleries, can be found in Manhattan which provide me with opportunites to enjoy my spare time. To visit architecturally unique structures like the Brooklyn Bridge can enhance my historic and artistic academic knowledge. According to recent reserch conducted by the New York Times, 90 percent of New Yorkers said they prefer to spend their leisure time visiting museums and galleries in order to restore their sprits as well as strengthen background knowledge.
To sum up, everyone may hold a different position on this issue. Some people may said having leisure time inside of the house makes it possible to use internet, watch television and movies with great ease on the comfortable sofa. However, I absolutely prefer spending extra time outdoors to indoors because it is more beneficial to me accumulate my educational knowledge as well as remove stress. |
