It may seem like it is a pressing issue that we need to develop the land and turn into farms, houses and industry for our own benefit. However, I disagree with the idea that using land for human's needs is more important than saving endangered animals, because keeping endangered animals in our environment will have a greater benefits in both human's lives and children's education.
First of all, saving endangered animals will keep our environment clean and people stay healthy. A substantial amount of cars and plants have been polluting the air and cause of global warming. Global warming is one of the greatest challenge in our lives. The development of economic will have no beneficial effect on our lives if it destroys our environment. By experincing global warming we now face natural disasters such as frequent drought and flood more than ever. Consequently, they bring about human some serious health risks and spread diseases. In my neighborhood, there was a forest and a lot of animals such as rabbits, deers and squirrels. However, people started cutting down the trees and built the apartments. Since then we no longer have a forest that we can go for a walk and the worse fact is that whenever we have rain the whole neighborhood struggle with being immersed. Therefore, if we do not concentrate on saving endangered animals and keep developing our lands for our own benefit right now, we will eventually face serious health problems and damage our environment.
Second, keeping our endangered animals safely will be beneficial educationally. Children can learn about these animals by seeing them directly. This is not the same as something they can learn from the textbooks. From my experience, when I was in elementry school I had a chance to visit Seoul national zoo and saw diverse animals. This gave me a good opportunity to have a live experience seeing tigers and bears. It was very different from what I read in the books or watched in TV documentary programs. I was very inspired by those animals interacting with each other and their movement such as in a way they swim or climb trees. Through this experience I think it is more helpful to have children to experience seeing those animals themselves for their inspirations so not saving endangered animals just for our needs in economy development will not leave any benefits for childrens' education.
In conclusion, I believe saving endangered animals has a substantial amount of importance for the humans' health and childrens' education.
