0161. People remember special gifts or presents that they have received. Why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. |
A substantial number of people often give presents for other people in order to celebrate special rituals or days. People usually treasure and remember their gifts. In my point of view, the rationale behind this is that the givers are usually very meaningful people to them. Moreover, givers give the special gifts when the receivers need them desperately. To begin with, the gifts which are from special or meaningful people refresh the people’s memories, so they remember the gifts as well as the givers. This is largely because usually, people give the presents to other people who have close relationships with them. Through giving receiving presents for the special events like wedding anniversary, birthday, or unique rituals from the closest people, those people come across the receivers’ mind. For example, for my 13th birthday, my grandfather gave me the watch which was his favorite. On top of that, the watch was given to him from his great-grandfather. Because my grandfather was a sweetheart, even though he passed away now, I always recall the time with him when I look at the watch that he gave to me. In addition, people remember the gifts when they received in times of need. An important reason is that fits are unforgettable when they truly need them. Fits like money, furniture, or book are memorable to the receivers and they also bring comfort to people who will marry immediately or who will immigrate. To illustrate, when I was in 7th grade, I went to the In conclusion, I think that people always receive their presents. The compelling logics behind this are that the givers are usually meaningful to people, and the fits are memorable when they need them. All in all, giving and receiving presents is a good habit to keep during this cold-hearted society. |
