Some people say that universuty education is not essential for success in life. However, I agree that higher education is crucial for a successful life for two reasons. First, professional knowledge can only ne acquired in college. Second, social relationships from college help you succeed.
Most of all, you need experience froem college education to succeed.
It is true that many successful people owe much of their success to diverse things other than their educational backgrounds. However, they will face chanllenges hard to get over without higher education.
Let me take a teen online writer for example. When the girl was in the first year in high school, she found herself intensely interested in writuing novels. Sadly, however, the school's standarized education did not give her any room to study fantasy novel writing. Istead, the high school teen chose to join an online writing community. In cyber space, nobody cared who and how old she was. It took only her creativity to compete with others for a better story. In addition, the online club put links to the most popular novel courses. She enrolled in one of them and the online education was available anywhere and anytime just with a laptop and internet connection. After finishing high school, she chose not to get into a college because she knew that she she would be required to do many things other than novel writing at college. Instead, she posted her fantasy series o some portal sites. In the beginning, her distinctive characteristics caught internet users' eyes and spread by word of mouth. Over time, however, some readers began to point out her lack of professional linguistics skills and deep literary knowledge. Sadly, she found it almost impossible to acquire these qualifications without higher education. This problem ended up lashing her dream of becoming a professional writer and getting her stories publised. In this sense, people need to have higher education to be successful in their lives.
In addition, people you know from college benefit you in many ways. Of course, you can have helpful friends without going to college. Even so, college friends from many different majors are always ther for you. My social network from college has led me to success in the course of my life. First of all, college alumni helped me build a successful career. When I first began to work at a company, I had a hard time adjusting myself to a new environment. Fortunately, the workplace ahd a community of those who had graduated from my university. We had a get together for drinks on a monthly basis. Not only did the members bond with each other but shared information and advice about their jobs. This enabled me to figure out how work was organized and decisions were made. Naturally, it did not take me long to perform my duties competently. Outside of work, I also benefit from college friends. When I was involved in a lawsuit because of a car accident a few years ago, I turned to a lawyer friend from my college soccer club. When it comes to money, I also have a financial manager who I met at university. In fact, I am not a patient investor, so I used to keep buying and selling stocks. However, she always tells me the more often I trade, the worse I do and has me let things go for a longer period of time. Indeed, I would not be on track for a successful life if I did not have the large circle of friends from college. this shows that university education is needed for success.
In conclusion, I agree that higher eduaction is crucial for a successful life for the reasons that I have mentioned above. First, you need expertise from college education to succeed. Second, people you know from college benefit you in many ways. |
