From time to time, we encounter situations where we have to do something that we do not favor. It could be studying least favorite subjects or meeting a hateful person. Some people would argue that we should still do these things if they are necessary whether we like it or not since such chores help us to achieve tolerance or it’s too essential to miss. However, I strongly disagree with the idea with the following reasons.
To begin with, performing unfavorable chores lacks efficiency. People usually show great achievements on their favorite things just simply because they like doing them. On the other hand, outcomes of their least favorite activities tend to be pretty bad. For example, I love to knit sand am skillful at it that I can even make three scarves in a week without any complaints. However, I find it very difficult to make a piece of pancake since I’m not that adroit at cooking.
Furthermore, doing something that one doesn’t like is a waste of time. For some people they are busy with their own works and cannot dawdle around doing unwanted tasks. For instance, I usually finish my school works in my room but the room is often messy. However, I just leave my messy room as the way it is. All the school’s assignments keep me too busy to clean up my room.
In conclusion, I firmly contend that people should not perform their least favorite works in terms of the works' inefficiency and time-wasting. It is partly undeniable that some of the good reasons for doing such things actually exist such as improving one’s endurance or the duty’s necessity. Still, benefits of not doing unwanted things are more substantial compared to that of conducting unfavorable chores.
