Are schools the only places to receive true education or is it also possible outside of schools? |
It is debatable whether people can be educated only by school or outside of schools. Some people say that it is possible to true education at schools because there are stable education systems and suitable teachers. There is lots of truth in it. However, I strongly believe the idea that it is possible for people to receive education well out of schools because we can practice our knowledge that we studied at schools and we can learn wisdom and life lessons that we could not learn at schools but outside of schools. First of all, there are many chances to practice our knowledge outside of schools. (일반적 사실보다 주장에 대한 이유를 글 머리에 써주세요)Teachers who at schools teach many things, but it has limitation because it is indirect experience and knowledge. For this reason, people need to have experiences and to practice their knowledge in person outside of schools(추가). That is why many people want to travel and visit museums. For example, about a year ago, I visited Egypt for looking the Egyptian pyramids. I already knew enough about pyramids and history of Egypt because I had taken world history and archeology classes at a university. I have watched many of pyramids pictures and read many Egyptian history books. However, when I watched pyramids I realize the importance of direct experiences. I just knew >> naturally got to know about the length and weight of pyramids. I did not know how the pyramids are great artificial and historical architect. This experience was more valuable for me than reading the history books. In addition, we can take some sort of life lessons and values outside of schools. We learn about ethics and goodness in classes such as philosophy class(생략) and sociology classes at schools. However it does >> they do not provide us with specific facts such as social problems like starvation of poor children that we have to know as a citizen. For instance, when I was a university student, I participated with a voluntary service for poor African people. I had not been educated about severity of the African’s starvation at university and had not interested in the problem. It was just a voluntary service but it gave me a lesson that the most important value that (생략) is love. I studied specific knowledge at university but it did not made me be true citizen who can love others. In conclusion, we can learn many things outside of schools because there are many chances to improve our knowledge and we can find life lesson and value outside of schools.
