▶ Your Answer :
Whether movies are worth watching only when they teach us something about real life is a topic worthy of debate. In spite of opposing viewpoints, my personal takes on the matter is that movies are not only good for teaching us something about real life. I can rationalize my viewpoint using a number of different arguments, but I will focus on two of the most important reason that are also the most relevant to the topic. Firstly, we are able to assume how much the future will change through watching movies and secondly, watching movies are good for releasing our stress.
The first most convincing reason behind my argument concerning this topic is that we are able to see the future we cannot live on screen. Some people who disagree with my position have a tendency to mistakenly overlook the fact that children can increase the ability of imagination of science when they watch the sci-fi movies. For example, last year, I went a movie theater with my cousin to watch the movie 'Avatar'. Although it was not about real life, my cousin and I were really appreciated since the movie showed us something that we had not imagined ever. Moreover, my little cousin was given the dream what he want to be in the future.
The second reason I would like to point out to argue my stance lies in the fact that wathcing a movie brings us relaxing regardless of its contents. To be specific, two weeks ago, I read an news article from my school newspaper. According to the article, most of the professors often use films on their class not only to release their student's stress but also to increase student's concentration about the lecture. They didn't measure what movie contended about real life or not. In my case, I didn't need to be nervous about the hard class as well as can focus on the lecture more easily when the professor teach us the topic with movies. This clearly demonstrates that watching films play a significant role in relaxing our tension.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the point I have mentioned above sufficiently support the stance that regardless the movie has real life or not, all movies have a positive impact on not only building up our dream but also relaxing our stress.
