You have the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks. Which country would you like to visit? Use specific reasons and details to explain your choice. |
Visiting a foreign country is one of the most exciting thing to do. I have been traveling or staying in about 25 countries so far, and the memories from each place are always remaining as unforgettable and precious asset to me. From the neighbouring country Japan and China to European countires and Unites States, I have never failed in gaining various meanings from it; learning foreign culture, meeting new friends and sometimes examining myself in a relatively objective view to understand what should I do for future. However, the recent situation of mine rarely allow me to travel abroad, because having job requires much more of time devotion into it than living a university life. Neverthelss, had given the opportunity to visit a foriegn country, I will choose Spain as the top place to go without any hesitation.
I already have visited to Spain for many times, including studying in Granada, Southern City of Spain penninsula for 3 months. Primarily, because my major was Spanish language and literature, requiring me to study in the country where the language is spoken. Plus, I loved Spanish culture -especially Spanish Soccer league- and also its people. Every time I landed the Air port 'Baraja' in the capital city Madrid, I was full of excitment and none of my visits let me down in any distance. If I choose Spain as my two weeks free time, some of my friends would say it cannot be the best choice, because I have already been there enough times. However, I still remember the promises that I made with the local friends there before I left Granada. During the farewell party on the last night in Spain, I gave my words to those sincere friends that I will back to see them once I get a job. In addition to it, I would like to apply for a Spanish language test which is held in Madrid as well. It was the intermidate level out of its 3 levels which I took when I was studying there. Since then I did not stop keep focusing on improving my Spanish lanuage skill and now I feel much more confidence to challenge the superior level of the test. And if I pass that test and obtain the certification as a result, it would provide me more opportunities to enrich my long term career.
I loved eating 'Sushi' in a small restaurant in Tokyo. Watching sunset at an anonymous harbor in Veniz always brings out the romantic atmosphere to me. In New York city, I really enjoyed to see great number of people walking fast heading there ways. However, I will never forget the scnenary of 'Alhambra Place' which I seen through the window of my house in Granada. Two weeks of holiday, the airplane ticket to Spain is nothing but the best choice for me. |
