In order to be supervisors in companies, workers concentrate their efforts for good results of some projects. Considering good bosses or supervisors, not only endless endeavors but also other factors should be followed, because too many competitors also have anxiety for the position in a company. However, I believe that both specialized knowledge and leadership would be essential dispositions to succeed in a company.
Supervisors should have knowledge about team’s overall situations beyond any team members’ level of knowledge. In general, high positions are given to people qualified by the criteria, assessing workers’ ability. This means that almost all supervisors have already to the extent technique and ability in their workplaces and the people who want to be managers must evaluate their knowledge. Since when members confront some difficult situations at work, they are prone to request seniors’ help in advance, the ability, related with analyzing problems and extracting adequate answers, is considered top priority of supervisors’ qualifications. In addition, noticing their bosses’ abilities, other members could be motivated.
On top of that, supervisors should be leaders with confidence. In contrast to team members, managers should have enough confident to deal with team’s work and encourage members to give birth to ideas because team members believe that their seniors’ determination might reduce any unnecessary procedures or troubles in terms of smooth workflows. In other words, this is related with supervisors’ leadership. For example, if someone’s manager could not show his/her leadership in some cases, members don’t consider him/her as a boss. If someone’s role is not executed properly and even controlled by managers, the others have to take in charge of his/her affairs instead. It means that overall workflows have to delayed, and are connected with bad results. Leadership not only solidifies belief between workers, but also makes a good atmosphere and outcomes in workplace.
In conclusion, although it seems that both having a skilled up knowledge and leadership need sacrifice of personal life and great efforts, people continuously pursue to acquire the two elements because they once are qualified with those, they can dream successful story in companies. |
