Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The number of cars will increase in the future. Use specific reasons and examples to support our answer. |
Nowadays, the growing number of cars has become social problem. A myriad of cars gives rise of the environment pollutions and many people feel inconvenience for traffic congestion. In the future, I believe the number of cars will decrease because of the governmental policies to reduce these problems. Also, development of the internet allows people to have a life regardless physical movement. First of all governments will regulate public transportation system to prevent using many individual cars. This is largely because public transportation provides people to have a convenience commute time instead of suffering from traffic jam and can conserve environment. By doing so, people will choose well-organized public transportation, which results in reducing the number of cars. For example, South Korea adapts new bus system, and the bus only can use the central road. The system strongly regulates only buses can pass the central road other than any vehicles. Because of this new system, the number of people who commutes by bus is largely increased due to its convenience and quickness. Accordingly, the individuals are not so much needed to have their own cars. Next, the development of the Internet shortens the physical distances. People can enjoy amusement in their home, and even they work in their houses. Needless to say the cars are only needed when they have to go out. In my personal experience, I had a shopping in the malls when Internet shopping is not so familiar with people likewise today. Sometimes shopping was bothersome to me since my house was far from the mall. I have to carry all of my shopping stuffs by my hands and cars. Otherwise, these days I am enjoying Internet shopping which I can do in my bedroom only searching the web sites. If I am also participating in the online class, I don’t need to move in my home. To summarize, the number of cars will be reduced on account of governments’ effort to prevent social problems. In addition, the shortage of using cars is another reason of my assertion. Consequently, the reduced number of cars is beneficial in humans. |
