Imagine that a company plans to build a big factory in your town. Discuss how the factory might improve or harm your community. Do you favor or oppose the plan to build the factory? |
All the investors in the world have been investing in China, constructing a number of factories in the country. Thus, chinese economy has been arising in the considerable rate. The factories, however, also brought many bad effects on this country. Considering this, I do not favor the plan to build factories in my town, for two reasons. The air polution naturally comes as a result of the factories. China is a good example of this. China is going to held Olympic this summer. There had not been any protestors about the countries which will held an Olympic ever. But strangly, There is a number of oppositions for Bei-Jing Olympic. Why?, oviously, that is because of the air pollution. It is very serious that the level of the polution in Bei-Jing. Some marathoners are even refusing to run in the air, and demonstrators have been trying to put the fire off from the torch. Of course, this problem is not only orginated from the factories, but also from other factors such as cars. It is clear, however, that the factory has the biggest part of the problem. Also, It can make the real estate which is owned by the local residents less valuable. This is related with air pollution problem, too. There is another problem again. Factories will cause a lot of noisy sounds. If you are going to buy your own house, would you prefer to live near the factory causing racket every week day? Most people's answer would be 'No'. It is very simular with that people do not want to live near the high-speed way in this sense. The less number of people who want to live in the place, the less expensive their properties. To sum up, if investors construct factories in my town, it will make the air in which we are living not pure and our properties less valuable. There are also good influences, too. But considering the factors above, We should prevent the plan from happening.
