Why do you think some people are attracted to dangerous sports or other dangerous activities? Use Specific reasons and examples to support your choice |
There are many kinds of activites that people exercise as a form of leisure. Some of them are very common, some are not. There always are people who find dangerous sports or activites very joyful. I am quite certain that these activites bring out some fun that nothing else can replace, and reasons provided below are more detailed reasons why people are in these dangerous activites First of all, I think thrill is what keep people attracted to this kind of activities. Thrill is a sort of feeling you get when you are in an extremely dangerous situation. Let's look at the example of Bungee jumping. It may look a little non-sense to some people to pay money for a free faling off the cliff, but Bungee jumping is one of the most popular attraction in some countries, and Bungee jumping apparently don't run out of business. Second reason that I think some people are attracted by such activities is that people always want to challenge themselves to their limitation, and dangerous activites are well suited for those people. When people find themselves in an extreme situation, they feel the existence of themselves in the world. This is probably why people kept challenging themselves to climb up Himalayan, or other remote places that our footsteps have not been put on. Third, I believe that people always want to be special, and the fact that they always look for somthing different attrats people to dangerous activities or sports. Most likely, these dangerous activites would be relatively new to most of people, bringing different type of fun that ordinary people have never felt before. Sky diving is popular because ordinary people usually don't get chances to fall from such a high place In conclusion, people enjoy dangerous activites because of unconventional feeling it brings out by doing something dangerous to your body and people will not stop doing these activites as long as our instincts remain in us. |
