When I lived in First of all, if I live in an English-speaking country, I have a lot of chances which to speak in English. I do not only speak English, but also hear something in English. For example, when I go to the market, I must speak English. Also if I want to know where a street is, I ask that in English. I will be better able to gradually communicate more today than yesterday. However, if I study English in my country, using English is impossible in daily Korean life, because I can not meet American. Therefore improving my English is a difficult mission. Secondly, I can know various parts of speech such as pronunciation, intonation, and fluency. A pronunciation is an especially important thing. If I use the wrong pronunciation, I might speak wrong expressions, and the situation may be full of problems. For instance sound ‘f’ and ‘p’, “Do you want two coffees?” or “Do you want to copy? A native speaker may misunderstand my intention. Also intonation is difficult that I understand native speaker because I don’t hear it spoken English in Finally, I am used to their culture. When I study any language, I need to know their culture because languages have custom and history. Language was made with their life and history. In other words, I need to study about the country. As I have different history and custom, I don’t understand their word’s meaning easily. Getting used to things will improve my capacity for learning. In conclusion, if I learn to swim, I must go to place where there is water. Likewise to study English one needs to go to an English-speaking country. That is to say, I would rather learn English in an English-speaking country than my country as that is a useful and effective method.
