In the past, automobiles were only used among the rich as the process of making automobiles was complicated and also costly. However, inventing a conveyor belt by Henry Ford became a turning point in the process, bringing a lot of technical development of making cars and reducing the cost. In these days, It is no doubt that having cars is de facto standard of the world. Of course, cars also make people's lives changed and bring tons of benefits both economically and educationally.
To begin with, cars have huge influence on economy of one nation. As cars were more developed after inventing a conveyor belt, people could go to their desirable places easily and quickly. This made a lot of benefits in a field of traveling. Also, Delivery was developed rapidly in terms of development of engine which is related to speed. According to International Herald Tribune, it was shown that over 60% of businesses were based on delivery system and 30% of them emphasized fast speed of their system.
Furthermore, development and commonness of cars also broaden range of education on our societies. In the past, there was invisible border lines of schools between different regions due to the lack of transfortation. However, after using a car, it was capable to go to a school even far from one's house. This made freedom to choose one's school even if a school is located in far area. According to one of professors in Korea University, he said Korea University' students came from all different places and over 80% of them actually from areas which took over 2hours to go to their university.
To sum up, Some people might say there are other things which make people's lives more convenient such as airplanes and bicycles. However, cars brought tremendous byproducts economically and educationally, which can not be compared with other inventions. Nowadays cars are essential parts of people's lives. I think car industry will be developed and activated more in the future, also hoping success of development and innovation in fuels for harsh environment. |
