Among people there is an ongoing argument as to whether it is not necessary to learn the past. Although some people might say that, in the fast-paced society, learning the past like a history class is what a time consuming thing and hassle thing, as far as I know, however, learning the past regardless of any medium can provide us with lots of beneficial aspects. In this essay, I will briefly present two reasons to support my assertion.
First of all, it is the past that provides us with correct disciplines and manual. To be specific, in order to do something required an brave mind and conduct, we are bound to feel scarce and umcomfortable but, in this case, if we find a historical fact relating to the thing, we will be able to do it without hesitation. As from my experience, when I was an university student, I was so afraid about new things that whenever reports and assingments is given to me, I do not them due to my unstable feeling, resulting in bad grades. At that time, if I made an affort to find the references associated with the things, I could have finished them successfully.
Secondly, learning the past is conducive to building the pride and self-confidence. Specifically, if students and children do not learn the past, they will not have them. According to the Education Admistration, the students learning the past have much more self-confidence comparing to the students who do not learn the past. As in this results, learning the past can encourage students to have their positive mental factors.
To summarize, taking all these factors into account mentioned above, we can easily reach the conclusion that people cannot have correct and positive metal factors without the past.
