These days, an increasing number of indoor entertainment is invented and is popular among the public. People tend to prefer spending their free time inside. However, an extreme period of time only spent inside is harmful because of possibilities to derive physical and psychological problems.
First of all, If people stay at home, they generally do not move around or exercise because they are madly engrossed with entertainment such as movies, computer games and TV. These activities do not require any extensive movement which can result in obesity. Obesity is a serious matter in mordern society as the numbers of patients are growing endlessly. One of major causes is obviously a lack of exercise and the elements that tie people inside the house: indoor entertainment. Also, lack of exposure to sunlight may trigger vitamin D deficiency. The symptoms of this illness include fatigue, irritability and physiological distruption. These cases of health problems establish the importance of outdoor activities that typically compromise sporty interaction and exposure to vitamin D.
Moreover, one of indoor activities that most of teenagers spend their free time is internet. While internet brings a lot of convenience in life it also creates new mental illness of being addicted to internet. According to the reasearch conducted by education center announces that one in third of teenagers are addicted to internet. This clearly shows the severity of the problem. In addition,when the level of addiction worsons, teenagers feel abnormally nervous, unsteady and anxious when they are banned from internet. They even show violent and abusive behaviour in order to rebel. Outdoor activities are one of the treaments to this issue because it suggests another healthy method to gain fun and excitement.
In conclusion, indoor activities have a lot of drawbacks that are critical and lethal in human life. Outdoor activities are strongly recommended for the benefits of both mental and physicla health condition.
