It is said that 'A friend in need , is a friend indeed.', which means being a sincere friend whatever interrupt between two friends. However, I do not agree that borrowing or lending money from a friend is right when it comes to financial problems. Once a friend borrow money from his or her friend, there is not equall relationshinps between two people anymore. Besides, the rate of breaking trust in each other can be increased.
First of all, the equality of friendships disappears when a friend borrow some money from his or her friends. A friend who borrows money will be under the stress to pay back for her firend. A friend who lend the money will concern about the money. Then, if the situation got worse, she who lent the money will enforce the friiend to pay for her money. It means that she asking for paying the money feels in more advatageous posotion because she just have to be paid for the money. In contrast , the friend who lent the money is very stressed out because she feels that she is relatively in a lower position.
Secondly, the rate of breaking friendships can be increased. It takes lone time to build real friendships between two people. However, It is very easy to break the relationships and one of the crucial sources to break the relationships is result from borrowing from friends. The more delayed the payback days, the more the distances between two friends become far away. Then, this is finally going to face miserable situations. From my own life, for example, I was really upset because one of my friend did not keep our promis to pay my money back. The feeling of resentment ended up breaking the friendships.
To sum up with, borrowing money from friends is a way to break the real freindships. It leads two people to be placed where one of the friend enforce another one and the situation is not a authentic friendship. Moreover, people can lose their precious friend because of the trvial money. So, I believe borrowing or lending money never happen between friends.
