There is an argument concerning whether students should attend in same sex schools or not where they share the same gender. Despite the fact that people contradict the idea that boys and girls should not be in separate schools(this part is too complicated; to make it simple would be better.), I am in favor of the notion that students should enroll in school that accommodates the two different genders because if they don't it might cause negative effects(this part sounds threatening...) and also it is proved that pupils are more motivated when they enroll in the class with the opposite gender.
Mostly, making students to attend in same sex schools can have negative effects on the pupils. Students go through adolescents during the teenage years and this is the age when they learn about their opposite gender. Also it's the time when they can find out about love.(isn't it too much??) If schools hinder these process that teenagers go through, they might be confused or in the worst case suffer from mental ailments when they grow up such as having problems in relationships with the opposite sex or getting extremely timid.(->this idea does not seem persuadable... too extreme and not a general idea) For example, when I was in high school. I myself attended the same-sex high school. According to my experience, many of my friends talked about girls during the break time or in the cafeteria when eating lunch. It was pretty clear that we were all curious about the opposite gender. However, after graduating, most of my friends had a hard time getting along with the women and I think this is the reason why they are still not married. Therefore I think it would be better to make both sex compatible in a school. (your example makes sense in a way... but your statement before this example is toooooo much~)
Moreover when education is concerned, it is much better to be in the class with the opposite gender. According to the statistics from a few years ago, students who had active interpersonal relationship with the opposite sex tend to have better grades. It was said that pupils in class were more motivated when they love or like someone because they gain happiness and hope from doing so.(overgeneralization in a sense...) To illustrate, school assignments are tedious and boring. If the school compels the students to merely focus on their studies, they would get exhausted and eventually in the worst case, give up studying. However if they fall in love, they have hopes that can overcome the grueling situation that they are in so it is way much efficient rather than just forcing them to study. In this regard, It is better not to separate the school according to the gender.
->your stance is clear with your extreme statements; paradoxically, your stance is endangered with your extreme statements, either. |
