Mostly, it is not true that soley(?->solely?) books that are based on facts are beneficial to our lives. Fiction books also have advantages and I think incubating the growth of (I do not think this is necessary)imagination is one of them. Many non-factual books are sorted as 'fictions' because the story that it(?) pertains(vi.;no object needed)->throw it away! is not likely to happen in our real lives such as "The Lord Of The Rings". However, these books can eventually help us to grow our imaginations. For example, the ring saga I mentioned above has an immense impact on fiction characters in the western world by creating creatures like elves or dwarves that are familiar to us. These creatures are now in many stories that deals with fictional characters such as the "The chronicles of Narnia", and thanks to the author's creativity, it made us enjoy the series for the past several decades! In this regard, I think fictions are advantageous to our lives.
Moreover when future is concerned, non-factual books can give us hints in the near future. Fiction books aren't only concerned with imaginative monsters like I mentioned previously. They also demonstrate things that are likely to happen, such as stories dealing with science. For example, when I was just a boy, cars weren't prevalent in my country. Only few who were wealthy possessed automobiles. However, the ironic event was that I read a book at that time dealing with near future.(this sentence seems awkward..) In the book it depicted the future cities where there were tons of skyscrapers, and cars that were capable of going up to 200 miles-per-hour roaming in the streets. I thought this was literally impossible; however, if I just look around from where I am, I realize the story eventually came true. In this respect, I think stories that take place in the moon or other planets are very much likely to happen due to the rapid ascending of technology in modern days. I mean, Who would have guessed that the story I read would eventually come true? Therefore, I think fictions are also helpful in our lives if we occasionally read it.(?)
To sum up, consdiering our imaginations and the fact that fictions can give clues in the near future, I think we should read non-factual books as well as non-fiction books.
