Definitely, the government's investment
plays a significant role in the public's activities such as art fields and
recreational facilities. Some people think that the government should spend
their budget on supporting art museums and music
performance, while others think that supporting recreational facilities is more
important. Both sides have their own reasons to support their views. If I
had to choose one, I would say that it is wiser for the state to invest their
financial assets
into supporting recreational facilities such as
playgrounds or public swimming pools. There are
several reasons as follows.
First of all, if the government spends
their money on recreational facilities, it helps their citizens improve their
physical health. Well-facilitated gymnasiums provide easy access to exercise to
the public. Furthermore, when their bodies heat up during exercise, their
bodies they will gernerate generate more white blood cells. An increase in white
blood cells tends to strengthen their immune
system. For example, according to Tokyo University, researchers found a huge
difference on physical health between two regions, Kumar and Saita. In the
Kumar, the government had prioritized
well-equipped sports facilities. Therefore, most
of their citizens had actively participated in
sport activities such as badminton and cycling. On the other hand, in the
Saita, there were no sport facilities available for the public to use.
Naturally, their citizens rarely exercised. The researchers found that the residents of the former was more likely to have a
higher resistance to diseases than those of the latter. In particular, most of poeple people who lived in
Kumar had a normal weight without serious diseases. However, many of
people who lived in Saita tended to be
overweight and developed adult deseases diseases such as diabetes, fatty liver diseases and
hypertension. This implies that the government's effort on supporting
recreational facilities is the key to physical health. This
proves my theory that if the government had invested in art fields such
as museum and performance, their physical health could not have been developed
properly.
To sum up, the advantages of investment on recreational facilities far
outweigh those of investment on art scenes for the reason I mentioned above. All in all, the
importance of the sport facilities cannot be underestimated in life.
