Some people might think that it is not a good idea to make employees participate in the process about decision making. However, I personally agree with above proposition that management should allow workers to present their own idea, because there are two reasons. First, it can make employees to have loyalty to company and the other reason is that this process will be able to increase sales.
To begin with, if employees can not enter the step of decision making and they should do just simple work as their own job, they will not be satisfied in their work environments and they feel themselves a machine. On the other hand, they are able to argue their thinking about some issues and they are going to feel that they are really members of their company and it will lead on making a loyalty to their corporation. Ultimately this positive effect can be indicated as a high productivity. There is a material conducted by a consulting enterprise. The purpose of this material was to determine that decision making with more employee could affect their productivity. The investigators researched this effect in two enterprises. First company implemented getting employees to attend decision making and the other company did not.After 6 months, the researchers concluded that, in the former company, they had double outcome compared with that of the past, while in the latter enterprise, they had just little fluctuation in productivity. And a worker of the former answered that the loyalty to his company was made and it applied to high performance.
On top of that, the more idea can make the more positive effect in sales. It has same meaning with Brain-Storming. To be specific, we can get a better concept through many workers. I will give you my personal experience as an example. When I worked in my previous job. I could insist an idea to make a mobile app to manage labors who worked at a construction site, because the compliance with safety regulation was a factor of evaluation items from contractors. After making this app, the project increasing the rate of safety observance was successful and we could not only get high score from contractor’s grading, but also make more contracts with them.
To sum up, if owner of company decide to make employee participate in decision making, company can get loyalty from his workers and high productivity, and also earn more money. In this sense, I strongly believe company must have this policy.
